Liliana and Atticus are quickly becoming very good buddies. She can make him go from screaming to smiling just by engaging him in conversation. His smile is usually followed by Lily squealing with delight and proudly reporting "Mommy, Atticus smiled at me!" She has also taken on the role of a little mommy. When she is the first to notice that he has spit up, she runs to get a cloth and then tenderly wipes his face. Her role as a mommy has extended to her nursing her dolls, playing pack and unpack the pretend diaper bag, and occasionally getting caught on the changing table trying to undo the snaps on Atticus's clothes.
