Daybook for 09.27.10

FOR TODAY
(09.27.10)

Outside my window...it is a drizzly grey morning.

I am thinking...about meal planning and grocery lists.

I am thankful for...Little Ish's "absolutely normal" hips!

From the learning rooms...we are still working on head control.  I have a very reluctant scholar.  Currently tummy time is also scream like a banshee time.

From the kitchen...there is lots of zucchini bread (both regular and chocolate).  Tonight is Italian chicken, baked potatoes and summer squash.

I am wearing...a simple black top and a knee-length floral skirt.  On my feet I am still wearing my fuzzy blue pajama socks.

I am creating...a meal plan for the week and a grocery list.  I hope to write a few letters during this week.

I am going...nowhere today.

I am reading...Midwives still.  It's been a busier month than anticipated.

I am hoping...that the Autumn weather sticks around.  It has been an abnormally hot September.

I am hearing...the hum of the refrigerator.

Around the house...I need to clean up before babysitting my niece and nephew tonight.

One of my favorite things...when Baby Ish laughs in his sleep.  It makes me wonder what he is dreaming about.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Aside from babysitting tonight and grocery shopping tomorrow night, I have no concrete plans.  Perhaps we will visit the farm on Friday.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...

  2. A quick question on the chocolate zucchini bread. The bottom of my loaves keep falling off-- not sticking to the pan but actually falling off. Any idea on what I might be doing wrong?
